Terms of use

Last updated 16 Oct 2026

Draft: to be completed before launch: operator legal name, registered address, country of registration, company registration number, contact e-mail address, lead data protection authority.

These terms apply to your use of Regionsight, operated by [operator legal name]. By creating an account you accept them. Questions: [contact e-mail address].

1. What Regionsight is

Regionsight provides location and market intelligence for Europe: free region dashboards, paid reports (the Comparison report, the Town report, the Market report and Company lists), a company finder and an API. It is a business service for companies and professionals.

2. Your account and organisation

  • Use a real work e-mail address and keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • Every account belongs to an organisation. Its owner and admins manage users, invitations, API keys and billing.
  • You can delete your account at any time. The privacy policy explains what that removes.

3. Plans, reports and payment

Prices, plans and limits are shown on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Paddle, who sells our plans and reports as reseller and handles VAT and invoices; Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

Subscriptions renew every month or year until you cancel. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.

4. The data and the reports

Reports are built from official open data: national registers and statistics offices, Eurostat and OpenStreetMap contributors. Each report records the data release it was built from. Third parties publish this data and it can be incomplete, late or wrong; we check it with care but cannot guarantee it.

Reports support your decisions. They are not investment, legal or tax advice.

5. Demo data

Data marked "Demo data" is synthetic, made for demonstration only, and not real. Do not rely on it.

6. What you may do with reports

You may use reports and data inside your organisation and share reports with your clients. Pro white-label reports may carry your brand. The underlying open data stays under its own licence; the sources and licences page lists each source and the attribution it requires.

See the sources and licences

7. Fair use

No scraping, bulk downloading or reselling of the data, no attempts to reach other organisations' data, no use of the data to contact individuals, and no sharing of API keys outside your organisation. We may suspend accounts that break these rules, after telling you why where possible.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Regionsight available and your data safe, but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted. We may change or end features. If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we tell you in advance by e-mail.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence. Otherwise we are not liable for indirect loss, or for decisions you make based on the data.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of [country of registration]. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your country.
